Jemima II ALAN and MOIRA

Welcome to our Website Homepage This is an account of our time on our narrowboat Jemima II which we commissioned in 2000 to be built and fitted out to our own design. Our aim was to cruise the whole system of navigable inland water ways and rivers. We took early retirement and spent a total of 5 and a half years cruising. We took delivery of Jemima II in YEAR 2001 which tells of many problems. Our journey started in March YEAR 2002 - with still more problems and how we overcame them. This account is in effect a series of extracts taken from my daily log and tells of interesting places we have visited or amusing facts as they happened on our journey - along with some photos. Finally, there are my conclusions at the end of the journey.
